ROCKVILLE - Eugene Harlan, 80, a retired farmer, died at 12:55 a.m. Friday in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. He resided on Rt. 1, Rockville. He was a Parke County native, born Jan. 8, 1896, a son of Thomas and Nora Roach Harlan. He was married to Margaret Horney Aug. 26, 1948. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert E. of Rt. 1, Rockville; a stepson, Darrell E. Horney of Lancaster, Ohio; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. James O. Trousdale officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-9 p.m. today. - jlr
